The 8 Days of World Oceans

Blue Scholars Initiative is tasked with fostering ocean stewardship through Biscayne Bay connections. Educating youth and community members about our connection to not only the watershed and bay, but also to the World Ocean is the driving force behind our global awareness campaign broadcasting from an ocean near you.

Beginning June 1st, Blue Scholars and partner NGOs will deliver a daily video presentation to highlight the valuable work being conducted around the globe to protect and preserve our world oceans and the life that exists within them. Shared by the organizations’ leaders, viewers will be introduced to the seven ocean regions where their respective programs are focused, the issues they’re addressing, and the direct actions our global community can take to “Save the Blue”.
